Landon Hornby spent nearly a decade in the real estate industry, selling houses and learning the market. In 2021 he turned that foundation toward building his own rental portfolio.
In less than three years, Landon acquired and renovated 250 single family residences across Lincoln Nebraska. $40 million in real estate. He moved faster than his market expected, and he did it without a fund, without inherited capital, and without outside partners calling the shots. He is Lincoln's fastest scaling operator, and he has the numbers to back it.
Cluster communities are a deliberate next step. Landon watched the townhome HOA market for years. He identified a structural problem: buyers and investors were paying HOA fees, dealing with shared governance, and giving up control of assets they thought they owned. The cluster community model addresses that directly. Separate parcels. No shared association. The same townhome style product with a cleaner ownership structure. Landon is building this in Lincoln first, and nobody else is doing it.

Scale cluster community model. Duplex, fourplex, eightplex builds. Townhome style row communities with multifamily zoning but separate parcels. Long-term target: 500 unit pipeline.

Transition to 100+ unit large multifamily once cluster community systems are proven.
